Lead Financial & Commercial Analyst

Summary

The project is a renewable energy initiative in Morocco, focused on conducting a prefeasibility study to replace an operational coal power facility with renewable energy operations. We are developing strong relationships with key players and stakeholders in the local power landscape. If successful, we expect to prevent the emission of millions of tons of CO2 per annum and unlock billions of USD in investment. The implications of this will benefit Morocco and the broader region, as a case study of a commercially viable coal power plant transition.

The Lead Analyst will shape the performance and output of the commercial solution we develop, working closely with international and local experts. A key component of the project involves developing insightful commercial and financial assessments to underpin the viability and bankability of the transition transaction. This is an excellent opportunity to build on existing expertise in the power sector and develop relationships with leading players in the coal-to-clean power space.
